Jun Zhuge

Founder & COO of SEG Solar

Mr. Zhuge has over 30 years of experience in the technology industry, working at Forbes 500 companies such as Schlumberger, KLA Tencor, and Linde Gas. Mr. Zhuge served as the Chief Technology Officer of another Tier 1 solar company from 2012 to 2016 and has held various other senior executive officer positions in the solar industry. Mr. Zhuge holds a Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering from California Polytechnic State University and a Master of Business Administration in technology management. In addition, he holds multiple patents in both the U.S. and China and authored a chapter titled “Solar Manufacturing” in the American Semiconductor Manufacturing Handbook published by McGraw and Hill.
Jim Wood

CEO of SEG Solar

Jim Wood is the President and Chief Executive Officer of SEG Solar Inc., a Houston, Texas–based, 100% U.S.-owned solar module manufacturer headquartered in Houston, widely recognized as the energy capital of the United States, where he resides. He is a co-founder of the company and is responsible for overall corporate strategy, operations, and commercial activities.

Mr. Wood has over 20 years of experience in the solar industry. Prior to founding SEG Solar, he held senior sales and commercial leadership roles at two Tier 1 solar module manufacturers, with experience spanning utility-scale, commercial, and distributed generation markets. He began his career on the installation side of the industry and was previously a NABCEP-certified solar installer, providing practical experience across both project development and manufacturing.

Michael Eden

Co-Founder & General Counsel of SEG Solar

Mike is an original founding member of SEG Solar. He brings to the company over 20 years of experience in the renewable energy industry and over 25 years of experience working as a transactional lawyer. Mike has worked as outside and general counsel for tier-one PV module manufacturers, major wind turbine equipment suppliers, and solar project developers. In addition to providing support for module sales, Mike is responsible for leading a number of different initiatives within the company, including those for debt financing, tax credit transfers, real estate acquisition, factory development, insurance and regulatory and tax matters. Prior to joining SEG, Mike was a partner at the international law firm of Reed Smith LLP in San Francisco and an associate at the law firms of Thelen LLP in San Francisco and Proskauer Rose LLP in New York City. Mike received his J.D. degree from Cornell Law School and his undergraduate degree from the University of California, Berkeley.
